two very pleasant experiences

Voice Talent Lee Gordon (I swear it’s him) Last evening I enjoyed two very pleasant phone calls that I thought I would share with you. First, I got a call from a number I had never seen before – which isn’t that unusual as many new clients call me all the time. 2010 is off to a good start, as I hope it is for everyone else. Marketing plan is in place as well as listings in several new directories. I watched with interest the Charlie Rose interview with NBC/Universal President Jeff Zucker who has been heavily invested in the programming debacle of the network’s entertainment division. Removing THUMP | Plosives From Voiceover

While a pop filter of some sort usually does the trick, have you ever listened back to your voiceover take only to hear that dreaded THUMP or PLOSIVE that ruins that portion of the take?  Well, you can remove it very simply.  The picture shown here is my setting to do just that.  The “plosive” is usually at the beginning of a word, thus I will highlight the offending segment of the waveform, starting just before the waveform begins drag it over until I have just
